Vibratory Hammers
Vibratory hammers are required for driving and extraction of heavy casings in tough ground conditions and the installation and extraction of sheet piles.
Crane Drills
Our fleet of crane-mounted drills includes two of the worlds most powerful rigs. We have drilled up to 16-foot diameter in overburden rock, up to 33 metres (110 feet) deep. Some of these excavations have been used as permanent access shafts for tunnels and pumping stations, while others support the heaviest bridge or building column footings.
Track Drills
Our fleet of track-mounted drill rigs allow for quick and efficient set-up with a drilling capacity of up to three metres diameter shafts to depths of 33 metres (110 feet). We have two of the worlds most powerful drill rigs in our fleet, and the only two in Canada. These rigs install pile liners with rotation and down crowd, thus eliminating the need for vibratory drivers. This method is used when working in sensitive areas such as excavations adjacent to historical buildings.
Pile Drivers
Our pile-driving equipment is world class. It includes the most modern diesel hammers, piling leads, and spotters. Deep Foundations owns a patented electronically controlled spotter, which allows side batters to be employed safely, without the risk of damaging the crane's lattice boom.
Tie Back Drills
Our fleet of tieback drills include both commercially available drills and custom designed built-in-house drills. Our rigs are capable of a technique seldom used in tieback drilling known as "reverse circulation drilling". This method is safe, clean and efficient and can be used in either soil or rock.
